Quiet deadline reflects new financial reality in NBA

What a frenzied day it has been out there on the NBA marketplace! Today was the last day for teams to trade during the 2012-13 NBA season, and so teams are wheelin' and dealin' and securing their championship futures!

Following the NBA trade deadline, did the Chicago Bulls' title odds increase, decrease or stay the same? It's safe to say the odds stayed exactly the same. This was undoubtedly one of the most boring and disappointing trade deadlines in recent memory.

Instead of launching themselves into a new era, the Celtics put the future on hold for at least a few more months. Paul Flannery looks at the reasons for and ramifications of that decision.

The Oklahoma City Thunder have already logged plenty of victories this year, but by bringing in Ronnie Brewer of the New York Knicks, they might also turn out to be the biggest winner of the NBA trade deadline. The Thunder don't really have many

In their wake, they left a completely different model for how players will change teams in the NBA, one that shrewd owners like Mark Cuban and general managers like Sam Presti anticipated months or even years ago. That's an unduly harsh description
